MedWish International (MedWish) provides a cost-effective, environmentally-friendly solution that bridges the gap between the abundance in the U.S. healthcare system and the medical scarcity affecting billions of people around the globe. MedWish saves countless lives, reduces waste for a healthier planet, and engages thousands of local volunteers. In 2017 MedWish International partnered with 134 hospitals and health care providers in NEO and kept over 471,092 lbs. of medical surplus out of landfills. MedWish also partnered with 16 Skill Building Program Institutions, and more than 150 consumers were part of its LOCAL Skill Building Program.
